Position: Youth Program Coordinator (FH)

Position Overview:

  • The Youth Program Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the operations of Clubs through the City of Boston's Successlink initiative. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities within the Clubs, including but not limited to:
  • Facilitating the execution of youth-oriented programs, activities, and events tailored for adolescent participants.
  • Supporting the supervision and mentorship of on-site youth associates.
  • Providing administrative assistance for the youth associate program, which includes tasks such as document organization and data management.
  • Ensuring the availability and upkeep of materials, equipment, and resources necessary for programs across different locations.
  • Offering assistance to Clubs for special events and other assigned activities.
  • Carrying out additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

Position Qualifications:

  • Completion of required training on topics such as youth supervision, recognizing signs of abuse, rights of youth workers, behavioral standards, and online safety.
  • Engagement in both individual and group supervision sessions.
  • Preferred experience or interest in working with young individuals.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn spreadsheet software.
  • Residency in the City of Boston is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be within the age range of 19 to 24 years.
