CJ Pony Parts is seeking a full-time, innovative Video Producer to enhance our Creative Marketing Team. The Video Producer will be responsible for directing, filming, mixing, and editing all video materials for the company, with a strong emphasis on organization and post-production. This role involves creating engaging product videos that showcase functionality and installation, as well as automotive culture content to promote our brand, events, and industry news in a captivating manner for our audience.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Capture video content that may involve acting and dialogue, collaborating with On-Screen Talent/Product Specialists.
  • Design graphics for integration within video projects.
  • Edit raw footage to produce polished final videos.
  • Occasionally collaborate with vendor representatives on-site for promotional video shoots.
  • Efficiently update video content as product details change.
  • Utilize necessary software to successfully publish completed videos across all media platforms.
  • Maintain a consistent quality and output rate for video production.
  • Produce internal video content that is not product-focused.
  • Record video at external locations for special occasions.
  • Select featured products from inventory for on-screen presentation.
  • Mix and edit all captured video content.
  • Format, upload, and disseminate video content to various media outlets.
  • Oversee YouTube channel management.
  • Incorporate video links into the company’s e-commerce platforms.
  • Handle administrative duties such as responding to inquiries and managing correspondence.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: An Associate degree or equivalent from a college or technical institution is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant videography and video editing experience is preferred, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Proficient shooting and lighting skills for 4K High-Definition video in both studio and field settings. Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Motion, and Adobe Suite. Strong time-management abilities to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience managing a YouTube account. Capability to consult with internal stakeholders to identify their video and editing requirements. Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence. Competence in problem-solving, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Specialized Knowledge: HTML coding experience is a plus. A passion for or knowledge of the automotive industry (including restoration, performance, and aftermarket parts) is advantageous.
