Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Systems Administrator to join our team at Unaka Company Inc.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our company's computer hardware and software systems. This includes troubleshooting system failures, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring long-term efficiency of the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting procedures to identify and resolve system failures and bottlenecks.
  • Monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and software systems to ensure operational compliance.
  • Provide level-1/2 support and troubleshoot to resolve technical issues.
  • Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and services.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Assist in network modeling, analysis, and provide technical support to users where necessary.
  • Perform testing, configuring, and repair of hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Prior experience with an IT department working procedures and related tasks.
  • Respond to user requests and provide entry-level support.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or diploma within the information technology field.
  • Microsoft Certification or similar experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
