Key Responsibilities: The following duties are essential to this role, although additional tasks may be assigned as needed:

  • Develop CNC programs for Fanuc and Mazatrol controls across various CNC machinery.
  • Set up and operate diverse metal removal processes, ensuring all equipment functions at optimal efficiency and quality as per U.S. Tsubaki standards. The primary focus will be on the setup and operation of CNC lathes to achieve precise tolerances and specifications.
  • Program, set up, and operate numerically controlled vertical and horizontal lathes, turret lathes, and engine lathes to perform repetitive operations such as turning, boring, threading, or facing of metal workpieces according to specified requirements.
  • Measure quality parameters of machined components and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage raw material retrieval and transfer finished products to subsequent processes to maintain continuous equipment operation.
  • Support, mentor, and develop fellow operators.
  • Create new programs from engineering drawings and significantly modify existing CNC programs when required.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other functions and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A CNC-related degree, completion of college-level courses, trade school graduation, or additional training in relevant fields is advantageous.
  • Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership regarding work quality and schedule.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively with colleagues to enhance processes.
  • Engage closely with team members both within and outside the department to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit sound judgment in making decisions to perform various tasks under time constraints.
  • Physical capability to handle moderate weights.
