Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and recommend process control enhancements to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Assess software and hardware needs and recommend equipment purchases to maintain up-to-date process control information systems.
  • Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and technically sound input.
  • Work with IT, Engineering, and operations personnel to provide automation and controls programming.
  • Participate in the development and review of plans and specifications for SCADA control systems.
  • Coordinate design, implementation, and control strategy modification for process control systems.
  • Develop and maintain standards for configuring process control systems.
  • Troubleshoot SCADA system problems and lead troubleshooting teams to deliver integrated automation solutions.
  • Supervise staff and manage project activities within the department.
Requirements
  • BS or BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • 5-7 years of IT experience, with 4 years as an Industrial Programmer.
  • CompTIA Security+ or approved equivalent.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Advanced certifications related to programming, industrial controls, and software development preferred.
