Your Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of GIS analysts, developers, and specialists.
Enhance a portfolio of advanced GIS, analytics, and data visualization capabilities while supporting business development initiatives.
Establish and nurture relationships with a diverse array of government and commercial clients for sustained GIS and analytics partnerships.
Oversee the successful delivery of a broad spectrum of advanced analytics and GIS projects, ranging from enterprise data management solutions to specialized analytical modeling tasks.
Utilize cross-domain subject matter expertise to devise innovative, data-driven solutions for clients operating in challenging mission areas.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in GIS analysis involving environmental, land use, and infrastructure data, with a strong grasp of spatial analysis, geospatial data visualization, and GIS workflows.
5+ years of experience with Esri's complete suite of desktop and web software, along with familiarity with open-source GIS software and tools being advantageous.
5+ years in business development or sales within the GIS or geospatial sector, demonstrating skills in identifying new business opportunities, formulating sales strategies, and meeting revenue targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of concepts and applicable software tools and analytical methodologies for analyzing and visualizing various types of GIS and remote sensing data.
Experience with the deployment of enterprise GIS solutions in cloud environments.
Proven ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach.
Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
