Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a highly skilled Geospatial AI/ML Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Spatial Solutions Division, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that leverage geospatial data and AI/ML technologies to support our defense and intel customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, data science, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and applications, with a focus on geospatial data processing and analysis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with senior engineers to design and develop AI/ML models and applications
  • Processing and analyzing large geospatial datasets to extract meaningful insights
  • Optimizing and tuning AI/ML models for performance and predictive accuracy
  • Developing data preprocessing pipelines and feature engineering strategies
  • Conducting model evaluation and validation, including performance metrics and error analysis
  • Implementing MLOps practices to streamline the machine learning lifecycle
  • Monitoring and maintaining AI/ML models post-deployment

Preferred qualifications include experience with GIS tools and libraries, geospatial datasets and phenomenologies, and machine learning frameworks and libraries.
