Position Overview:
Nursing Assistant I plays a crucial role in providing essential care within a skilled nursing environment. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a commitment incentive distributed over a two-year period.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents/patients with daily living activities.
  • Facilitate transportation for residents/patients to various locations within the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness by changing bed linens and running errands.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of residents/patients during care activities.
  • Communicate relevant information regarding residents/patients to appropriate personnel.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Complete required competencies and annual in-service education.
  • Respond to call bells and alarms to assess residents'/patients' needs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant Training program and registration with the Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Prior experience as a Nursing Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
