About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at Textron Systems. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned programs within our Electronic Systems business line.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate preparation of proposals and manage all phases of the program, from inception to completion.
  2. Establish and ensure adherence to milestones, master schedules, and program financial baseline.
  3. Participate in negotiation of contract changes and lead internal and external project reviews.
  4. Identify program problems and facilitate solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing specifications/procedures.
  5. Work effectively with the program engineering team and ensure enterprise leadership is updated on significant program issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • At least eight years of directly related experience in Program Management.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, including the ability to supervise others and work within a team environment.
