Medical Respiratory Care Professional

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
About the positionThis is a full-time position that requires working under physician direction and supervision of the Respiratory Care Clinical Team Manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities- Perform routine treatments such as updrafts, MDI, CPT, AMB, incentive spirometry, IPV, and ventilator setup and management.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently in echart system and/or patient charts.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma plus 2 years direct respiratory care experience or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care.
- A current Arkansas Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are preferred.
