Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will work under physician direction and supervision to provide quality patient care and promote a healthy work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Calls for or physically moves equipment and medical supplies needed into the assigned work area
  • Performs routine treatments including but not limited to: Updrafts, MDI, CPT, AMB, Incentive spirometry, IPV, Patient Education, Ventilator set up and management
  • Enter patient treatment in echart system and/or places documentation in patient charts
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive image for UAMS Medical Center. This position comes with a salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan matching.
