Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide comprehensive patient education on medications, treatment instructions, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and examination findings.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
