About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Registered Nurse to join our Special Procedures Department at HCA Florida Northside Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of invasive radiology patients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the procedure.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure seamless execution of procedures, providing expert clinical guidance and support as needed.
  • Identify and ensure the availability of necessary equipment for procedures, ensuring timely setup and preparation of the room.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, documenting their condition and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Florida Registered Nurse license, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
  • A Nursing Diploma or ASN, with BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, with a strong preference for radiology or interventional radiology experience.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, with ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
