Job Title: Roadway Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Roadway Design Engineer to join our team in Lubbock, TX or Midland, TX. As a key member of our Roadway/Transportation team, you will be responsible for designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects for TxDOT and other agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage transportation design projects, including PS&E and Schematic Design
  • Collaborate with clients and other consultants to ensure project success
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Review and approve transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent
  • Texas PE License required (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in TxDOT Roadway/Transportation Engineering PS&E and Schematic Design
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Experience with Open Roads and DOT regulations
