Position Overview

As the Engineering Director, you will manage a team of skilled Electrical Engineers focused on the design and development of PLC-based electronic control systems. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers
  • Overseeing project management tasks, including time estimation, procurement, and schedule management
  • Customizing and developing PLC-based systems
  • Collaborating with various departments, including sales, production, finance, and senior management
  • Designing and implementing PLC systems utilizing ladder logic programming, data acquisition, and networking expertise
  • Keeping abreast of industry advancements and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • Formal education or hands-on experience with PLC-based electronic control systems
  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages, particularly ladder logic
  • Understanding of industrial networking standards (e.g., Profibus, Modbus)
  • Familiarity with SQL Server or similar SQL databases
  • Experience with electrical schematics and AutoCAD software
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude
