Compensation Structure:

  • Development of a supportive partner team to ensure necessary prayer and financial backing for salary and ministry costs

  • Salary range typically between $25,709 and $80,000 post-support development, contingent on experience and qualifications

Role Responsibilities:

This position plays a vital role in engaging with international students at a prominent university, facilitating outreach and ministry efforts. The coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Campus Engagement:
    • Organizing and participating in cultural events and trips
    • Welcoming international students and assisting them in acclimating to their new environment
    • Leading outreach initiatives such as Bible studies and friendship partnerships
  • Church Relations:
    • Building and nurturing relationships with local churches
    • Activating church coordinators to enhance their involvement
    • Maintaining records related to church partnerships
  • Volunteer Management:
    • Recruiting and coordinating volunteers for various activities
    • Supporting volunteers during outreach events
    • Keeping accurate data on volunteer participation

Qualifications:

  • Alignment with IFI's statement of faith and core values
  • Demonstrated loyalty and commitment to IFI's mission
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Capacity to manage stress and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in conflict resolution
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a ministry-related field, or equivalent experience in mobilizing and training individuals
  • Experience in cross-cultural ministry is preferred
