Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Dental Hygienist to provide clinical excellence and patient care to our patients. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing thorough dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Working closely with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental techniques and technologies
Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist at Pelican Park Dental Care, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough dental hygiene services, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborating with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental techniques and technologies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current dental hygienist license in LA and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
  • Clinical experience and proficiency in using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
