Salary and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $220,000 in the United States. Job Description:

In this role, you will have hands-on experience in building and scaling a controllership function, strong people leadership capabilities, and a passion for process improvement and automation. This position will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of accounting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, audits, and supporting the organization's growth initiatives.

You will oversee and manage all aspects of the controllership function, including General Ledger management, Journal Entries, Audits, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). You will also build and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience, with a proven track record of building and growing a controllership function.
  • 5 years of recent Controllership/F&A experience with a Government Contracting (GovCon) organization.
  • Strong leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor people and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience managing audits, general ledger, journal entries, AP/AR processes.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience with Unanet ERP system is highly desired.
  • CPA certification is highly desired.
  • System and process-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
