Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. as a Computed Tomography Technologist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and safety
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and images
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure optimal imaging quality and patient safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current certification in radiography and computed tomography
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CT scanners and other imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of radiology and imaging principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
