Customer Service Representative Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at Family Dollar, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers. Your primary goal is to ensure that every customer leaves the store satisfied with their shopping experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with selection of merchandise.
  • Complete cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Answer questions regarding the store and merchandise, providing information on products and services.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
