Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and business performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, SOP, and QA policies.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal pharmacy operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for pharmacy staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and IT, to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy operations with other business functions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
  • U.S. pharmacy related experience.
