Clinical Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. This full-time position is responsible for reviewing and improving the quality of clinical documentation in health records.
About the Role:
As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and ancillary staff to identify and resolve clinical documentation deficiencies. Your expertise will ensure accurate outcomes reporting and support appropriate DRG assignment. You will also be responsible for performing concurrent CDI reviews and applying clinical knowledge to assess clinical findings.
Responsibilities:
• Improve the quality of clinical documentation in health records to support accurate outcomes reporting and DRG assignment.
• Perform concurrent CDI reviews and apply clinical knowledge to assess clinical findings.
• Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and ancillary staff to resolve clinical documentation deficiencies.
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) for Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists.
