In this role, you will provide analytical and clinical assistance to nursing leadership, facilitating the planning and forecasting of patient care requirements based on quality benchmarks, patient acuity trends, staff educational needs, and patient satisfaction metrics.
This position ensures the highest standards in nursing research, education, and practice.The Nursing Coordinator is committed to delivering nursing care that aligns with the organization's mission of outstanding patient care and the vision of establishing a new benchmark for excellence in independent and accountable nursing practice, emphasizing patient advocacy and innovative care within a culture of trust and collaboration.
The clinical leader will report directly to the Nurse Manager.Qualifications
Education:
- Associate's degree is required
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Must possess a current Florida Nursing License
- ACLS and BLS certifications for Healthcare providers are preferred
- Professional certification from a recognized national organization is preferred
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training:
- Must maintain or exceed all specialty educational requirements
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is essential
Experience:
- A minimum of two years of professional nursing experience is required
- Prior management experience is preferred
- Specific education and experience as outlined by the unit(s) of employment
- Demonstrated ability to practice nursing autonomously and accountably, with knowledge of patient care outcomes management
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to enhance staff knowledge and application of evidence-based practices, along with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
