Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Leading and mentoring the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support.
- Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Supporting ISO and AS9100 internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinating and facilitating external audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and customers.
- Utilizing quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
The successful Quality Manager will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- 5+ years minimum of experience in Quality for Manufacturing.
- Supervisory experience.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Standards.
- Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) would be beneficial.
