Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Leading and mentoring the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support.
  • Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Supporting ISO and AS9100 internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinating and facilitating external audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and customers.
  • Utilizing quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

The successful Quality Manager will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years minimum of experience in Quality for Manufacturing.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Standards.
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) would be beneficial.
