Job Summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Direct Marketing Manager to lead our local canvassing team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving non-media lead generation and local awareness through our Direct Marketing Programs (Canvassing) while managing to a set spend and lead budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Direct Marketing Associates (canvassers) with a direct hands-on approach, providing motivation and coaching to help the team reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Recruit, hire, and train Direct Marketing Associates (DMA) through cost-effective recruiting tools, including partnering with the Talent Acquisition team when appropriate.
  • Oversee all DMA field activities, including in-field and office training, role-playing, daily meetings, field supervision, and motivating team members.
  • Create and develop the culture of the local Proximity Marketing team through personal role modeling desired behaviors and techniques, with a heavy focus on role-playing company methodology.
  • Monitor and coach every team member in the field to ensure they are following proper procedures, scripts, and customer service guidelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including coordinating canvass logistics with mapping and tracking using company software and apps, permit logistics, script and flyer maintenance, verifying/validating leads gathered during each shift.
  • Provide information to managers, general managers, sales managers, and subordinates on neighborhoods and cities where Renewal by Andersen's products and services can be demonstrated with the intent of generating qualified leads and appointments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or a college degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within canvassing or face-to-face marketing programs, with a proven ability to develop, motivate, and lead high-performing teams to achieve sales targets.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional training programs, effectively coach and mentor individuals, and inspire and guide teams towards achieving goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges, and develop effective solutions to achieve long-term goals.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, utilize time management techniques, and manage budgets to maximize efficiency and achieve financial objectives.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a safe driving record is mandatory for this position.
