About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the optimum operation of our copiers and digital copiers/printers through preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain customer desktop PC hardware and software.
  • Install desktop PC updates and temporary fixes to existing programs.
  • Provide information and assistance to customers.
  • Presentation of formal and informal training to customers.
  • Report, respond to and resolve customer requests.
  • Become the dedicated Kyocera Fleet Services (KFS) remote fleet support technician with the ability to troubleshoot and respond to KFS warnings and alerts.
  • Learn proactive and help desk procedures through the KFS portal.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, including Outlook.
  • Superior in-person customer service and communications skills.
  • Effective organizational and time/task management skills including the ability to prioritize responsibilities and to operate with changing priorities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must maintain high level and current knowledge of procedures and troubleshooting techniques for new and existing equipment environments, currently used software, and specialty software.
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Any CompTIA certifications.
  • Prior computer and network experience.
