Automation Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Controls Engineer to join our team at Integrity Resources.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming PLC and HMI software for company projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and schedule, and effective communication with team members on project status and needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, maintaining, documenting, troubleshooting, and debugging PLC & HMI programs.
- Completing programming projects accurately and on time.
- Assisting with on-site start and troubleshooting, as needed.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and clients.
- Integrating programming with pumps, blowers, and mechanical equipment control.
Desired skills and experience include:
- 5+ years of experience in PLC/HMI programming with deployment experience.
- Ability to read electrical prints, schematics, and drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits, both control and power distribution.
- Ability to write, understand, and troubleshoot PLC software.
- Experience with HMI design and packages.
- Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt well to change, while utilizing strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with water/wastewater applications is preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
- Experience with SCADA Software is a plus.
- PLC programming experience with Siemens is a plus.
- Calibration and testing of transmitters, switches, converters, recorders, indicators, actuated valves, and control loops back to PLC or DCS systems.
- Database solutions.
- OIT application development and deployment.
- Oil and Gas experience is highly desirable.
- Wired and wireless Industrial Communications solutions.
- Understanding of Electrical Design and Engineering.
- Verifies all test equipment is NIST Traceable and has a current calibration date.
- Utilizes industry standards for testing.
- Experience with developing systems to control pumps and blowers, and other mechanical facilities is a plus.
Required minimum qualifications include:
- High School Diploma, or Equivalent.
- Valid Drivers License with clean driving record.

- Ability to set and balance priorities in order to complete projects on time.
- Ability to make decisions and recommend appropriate course of action in difficult situations.
- Ability to handle stress and possess positive traits even in difficult or challenging situations.
Automation/Commissioning Technician Specific Skillsets:
- Comprehensive knowledge of control systems, equipment, operational, and mechanical systems including; installation, testing, maintenance, and repair.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Working knowledge of AC and DC control circuits.
