Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Firstat Medical Staffing. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This is a travel Respiratory Therapist position that requires a minimum of two years of recent experience in the healthcare field, with a focus on respiratory care. The ideal candidate will be a well-trained professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
  • Current clinical license and specialty certifications mandated by the client's state requirements
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Two current clinical references
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Physical (within 12 months)
  • TB skin test (within 12 months)
  • Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella
  • Respiratory Fit Test (within 12 months)
  • Current - Tdap/Flu vaccinations
