Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
