Job Summary
We are currently seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team at Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of food preparation and presentation, including:
- Menu planning and inventory management
- Supervising a team of cooks and kitchen staff
- Ensuring high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- Contributing to the development of new menus and recipes
- Participating in special events and functions as required
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a sous chef or equivalent position. A background in hospitality or culinary arts is highly desirable, and knowledge of state health codes and company standard operating procedures is essential.
