The Department of Linguistics and Cognitive Science at the University of Delaware invites applications for a Continuing Track Senior Professor of Language Disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a renowned institution with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As a Senior Professor, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor undergraduate students in Cognitive Science and Speech-Language Pathology, and participate in departmental and university-wide service. Primary teaching duties would include courses for the Speech-Language Pathology specialization in the Cognitive Science major and/or related courses for the Cognitive Science major (e.g., Neurobiology of Language, Topics courses in Cognitive Science, etc.).

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a Ph.D. in Language disorders, Communication disorders, Linguistics, or a related field. Clinical certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) and prior teaching experience are strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the department and the university.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation packages are highly competitive and include a comprehensive benefits package.
