Senior Business Intelligence Developer

This is a role that involves several key responsibilities:
- Leading workshops and design sessions to gather requirements clarity and deliver results like mock-ups, flow diagrams, and more; overseeing the implementation of Demand items to meet customer needs.
- Creating, managing, administering Power Platform solution and capabilities related to governance, administration, and operations management; guiding the implementation of Power Platform services and promoting approved services and products.
- Collaborating with Project Managers, IT, and business management on multiple development projects to identify and translate complex business requirements into architectural design, as well as ensuring the successful implementation of Power Platform Solutions.
- Developing software that controls power platforms, monitors their performance, and transmits data to external systems.
- Developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform products: Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate among others.
- Working with internal and external clients to create and support business applications, reports, and workflows using a Power Platform solution.
- Maintaining and enhancing Power Platform application systems in test and production environments.
- Identifying and troubleshooting application issues and resolving them or escalating if necessary.
- Defining best practices for all Power Platform services, including Power Apps and Power Automate; outlining operational processes, procedures, and standards/best practices, documenting flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and demonstrating the value of solutions.
- Managing and implementing On-Premises Data Gateways used with the Power Platform services;
We are looking for an experienced professional who can take the lead in developing and maintaining our business intelligence platform. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience with the Power Platform development life cycle, product and service life cycle management, and customizing database forms, fields, views, workflows, and BI reports/dashboards.
The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum five years of recent progressive direct involvement experience with the power platform development life cycle, product and service life cycle management, and experience in customizing database forms, fields, views, workflows, and BI reports/dashboards.
- Strong practical experience across the full set of Microsoft Power Platform components.
- Previous experience with premium connectors and their implementations; proficient in creating and configuring custom connectors for use with PowerApps and Power Automate services; Experience working with embedding Power BI reports within Power Apps solutions.
- Proficient with SharePoint Online, .Net, Power Platform suite including Power BI, SQL, and programming languages; proficient in industry-standard best practices, which include but are not limited to Coding Standards, Coding modularity/Re-use, Application Design/Prototypes, Coding analyzer/profiling Toolsets.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; demonstrated ability to prioritize, delegate, and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
