Contingency Management Coordinator/Peer Support Advocate

Job Summary

This role combines two critical functions: Contingency Management Coordinator and Peer Support Advocate. As a Contingency Management Coordinator, you will help patients access evidence-based treatment for stimulant use disorders by administering urine drug tests and providing incentives. As a Peer Support Advocate, you will coordinate transportation for clients enrolled in the Journey HOME Intensive Outpatient Program to treatment sites in West Sacramento. You will engage with clients in a trauma-informed and responsive manner, using destigmatizing and strength-based language.

Responsibilities
  1. Administer urine drug tests and track data to ensure accurate incentive distribution.
  2. Coordinate transportation for clients to treatment sites, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  3. Engage with clients in a trauma-informed and responsive manner, using destigmatizing and strength-based language.
  4. Monitor vehicle condition and report any issues to ensure safe operation.
  5. Comply with established department policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance of program, safety, environmental and patient service standards.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or GED required.
  2. A valid Class C driver's license and at least one year of driving experience to perform the job safely.
  3. A driving record free of points or convictions.
  4. Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find pickup locations.
  5. Time management and organizational skills to keep track of client pick up and drop off times.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients.
  7. Peer Advocate or Substance use certification required.
