Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Over 15 years of relevant industry experience with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Experience in developing large-scale distributed architectures.
  • Background in working with highly available products operating 24/7.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis of performance issues in both lab and production settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of database fundamentals, including SQL, schema design, and internals (Postgres), as well as Active Session History (ASH).
  • Experience with Java profiling tools such as VisualVM or similar.
  • Familiarity with HBase and Hadoop is advantageous.
  • Experience with caching solutions like Redis.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
