Your role will involve supporting necessary inspections related to the mechanical and functional aspects of aircraft, including testing and replacing defective or malfunctioning parts.

You will utilize a variety of tools and equipment to perform basic diagnostics on components requiring replacement, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance adhere to both national and international standards. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft airframes and engines.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to guide repair processes.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Document maintenance activities and report any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant certification, with no prior violations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work locations.
  • Ability to pass Class 3 Physical requirements, including a hearing test.
  • Willingness to travel and work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Experience with jet aircraft is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in FAA repair stations or Quality Assurance roles.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense sector, particularly with the U.S. Department of Defense or Military.
  • Experience with Global 6500 aircraft and initial training.
