Job Title: Cannabis Extraction Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cannabis Extraction Processor to join our team at Grow Op Farms. As a key member of our extraction team, you will be responsible for processing biomass using ethanol or hydrocarbon processes, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.

Job Summary

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of extraction processes and equipment operation. You will work closely with our Extraction Lead to ensure that all extractions are performed safely and efficiently, and that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process biomass using ethanol or hydrocarbon processes, ensuring optimal extraction yields and product quality.
  • Monitor extractions to ensure equipment is working properly and conforms to safe operating parameters.
  • Communicate with the Extraction Lead about biomass quality, preparation, or any deviations from normal operating procedures.
  • Assist in packing biomass, post-processing activities, and the setup, breakdown, and regular operation of the extraction room(s) as needed.
  • Perform continuous safety checks on machines and equipment, notifying the Extraction Lead of maintenance needs.
  • Responsible for disassembly and reassembly of extractors and active working on safe, efficient, and effective techniques.
  • Log extraction information and yields in designated trackers.
  • Emphasize safety in all laboratory activities and responsible for employee safety and adherence to safety measures, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist with Research & Development projects as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) year associates or trade degree preferred.
  • Cannabis extractions concepts and market knowledge is preferred.
  • Must be 21 years old or older.
Work Environment

This role will be based in our state-of-the-art extraction facility, where you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be exposed to moderate to loud noise levels, and may be exposed to workplace hazards or potential injuries.

We offer a competitive salary range of $16.50-$19.50/hour DOE, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, accident, and life insurance.
