We are seeking a top-notch software engineer to join our System Software Security team. As a key member of this team, you will work with the most advanced current and future generations of Tegra products and SOCs. Your mission will be to develop robust, safe, and secure systems used in Automotive, Data Center, and Embedded products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sophisticated security and system software solutions for Tegra Automotive, Embedded, and Data Center platforms.
  • Develop bare metal software and applications for various security use cases.
  • Immerse in security enclave design, ROT (Root of Trust), and runtime firmware in the cryptographic security system.
  • Involve in Security SDLC and standards like ISO 26262 Safety, ISO 21434 Security.
  • Take an active role in the new silicon lifecycle, from pre-silicon simulation/emulation, test validation to power-on bring up phases.
  • Specify and implement test cases while actively seeking improvements to test automation and software quality.
  • Work closely with the architecture and different software and hardware design teams to improve the next generation of NVIDIA System-on-Chips.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong system software engineering skills combined with a desire to resolve hard problems.
  • Strong programming and debugging skills in C, C++, and Assembly language. Experience in RUST and Ada/Spark programming language is a plus.
  • Good understanding of operating system internals, embedded systems, and security software.
  • A great teammate; self-motivated and with a good attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good communications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable in general embedded system, applied cryptography, secure boot, and attestation. Understanding standards like SPDM, PLDM, MCTP, and DICE is desirable.
  • Prior exposure to advanced CPU architectures such as ARM or RISC_V.
  • Defensive security programming skills, software fuzzing, and penetration testing experience.
  • Ability to identify design vulnerabilities and debug complex problems.
  • Proven interests in striving for the most secured and efficient software.

What We Offer

NVIDIA offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $230,000 USD, based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
