GPU Firmware Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team lead to join our GPU Firmware team at NVIDIA. As a team lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing and developing firmware solutions for our GPUs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of engineers in firmware development
  • Defining firmware feature roadmaps to align with hardware and industry specification advancements
  • Collaborating with hardware, software, and business teams to transform new firmware features from idea to reality
  • Improving team software process and core infrastructure via projects dealing with build systems and regression farms
  • Continuously evaluating and improving security for firmware that functions as a root of trust

Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
  • 10+ overall years of experience in the software industry
  • 4+ years' experience in leading teams developing device BIOS, firmware, or other low-level software
  • Strong C skills
  • Even stronger communication skills
  • Sense of humor stronger than your C skills encouraged, but not required

What we need to see:

  • Examples of customer-facing system software features that you drove to completion
  • Knowledge of the PC architecture including PCI/PCIe as well as display technologies like DP and HDMI
  • Experience developing for UEFI environments
  • Understanding of secure development concepts such as threat models, attack trees, static/dynamic analysis, and fuzzing

The base salary range is 220,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
