Position Overview

The Integrated Systems QA Analyst II plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software through rigorous testing throughout the development lifecycle of new and enhanced software solutions. This position involves validating, tracking, and monitoring software functionality and system performance to ensure the final product adheres to the highest standards for all users.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conducts functional testing across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments as new deployments are introduced.
  • Focuses on the integration of various internal systems, including but not limited to CXONE, HubSpot, credit card processing systems, and Salesforce.
  • Analyzes and reviews requirement specifications to grasp the scope, requirements, and intended functionality of the software product.
  • Identifies suitable parameters, functions, and data for testing and validating integrated systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Develops reusable test cases for Quality Assurance Testing.
  • Leads efforts in crafting comprehensive test cases for integrated products.
  • Utilizes diagnostic tools provided by the development team to troubleshoot and understand product functionalities.
  • Executes testing to confirm that products meet user requirements and established guidelines.
  • Reports defects to developers when products do not meet specifications, while suggesting solutions and improvements.
  • Diagnoses software issues during testing and supports products in a production environment.
  • Logs and recreates errors while documenting bugs and defects.
  • Validates and communicates the successful deployment of software enhancements and product rollouts.
  • Engages with internal Subject Matter Experts regarding the behavior and concerns of integrated systems.
  • Creates JIRA tickets for activities and reported bugs.
  • Assists Product Support Personnel in developing effective processes and enhancements.
  • Provides support to the Product Support Team and Level 4 Subject Matter Experts.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Product Troubleshooting.
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in the Travel Industry.
  • Familiarity with quality system requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in developing effective application testing plans.
  • Extensive experience in software and database testing, including designing and manipulating test data.
  • Ability to create test plans and user test cases based on specifications or verbal instructions.
  • Skilled in liaising with developers, project managers, and customer support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment.
