Job Summary:

As a Sr Implementation Manager at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc., you will play a key role in developing strategic implementation processes to drive shared goals between our company and customers. You will oversee the project lifecycle from consultation to review, coordinating with internal software development and operations teams to devise and implement innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead change management for new implementation plans, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Travel to customer sites to lead discovery, configuration, and training, fostering strong relationships and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Manage project timelines, progress updates, presentations, and customer documents from creation to review, identifying and resolving potential implementation issues.
  • Foster customer retention and increase customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Develop functional configuration specifications based on thorough analysis of business requirements, ensuring alignment with divisional business model and strategy.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience to coordinate with customers and internal teams to facilitate the resolution of problems, promoting a collaborative and solution-focused environment.
  • Develop and continuously refine business implementation practices to align with divisional business model and strategy, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Train, mentor, coach, and onboard junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Remain updated on the latest product features and functionality, providing end-user training for successful use and ensuring seamless adoption.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED with at least 10 years of combination of education, experience, and training, and/or military equivalent with at least 5 years of which in supply chain management or related field.

AND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:

Knowledge of a load order lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Technology, Transportation Logistics, Communication, Engineering, or a related field and at least 10 years of combination of education, experience, and training.

Knowledge of J.B. Hunt 360 platform capabilities.

Demonstrated process mapping skills.

Ability to identify and sell commonality in processes across multiple business units.

Knowledge of how data flows across business processes.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure.

Knowledge of business applications strategy and implementation.

Ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.

Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Ability to work with minimal direction.
