Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Quality Supervisor is to validate the daily operations of the housekeeping team.

This role acts as the key liaison among the Property Service Manager, housekeeping manager, and the housekeeping personnel concerning the standards of cleanliness achieved.

The supervisor will uphold and enforce the cleaning protocols and policies associated with Resorts West and the housekeeping division, while consistently promoting the Luxury Defined standard.

This position carries significant responsibility and necessitates a solid understanding of housekeeping and customer service practices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Guarantee that guests of Resorts West receive exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Maintain the cleaning quality and standards of Resorts West through regular evaluations of all assigned housekeeping tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to establish and execute housekeeping standards and policies.
  • Assist in the procurement of housekeeping supplies and oversee their usage.
  • Evaluate and report on the performance of housekeeping staff to the Property Service Manager and housekeeping manager.
  • Support the training and development of housekeeping personnel.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all units prior to guest arrivals.
  • Perform inspections for all owner stays.
  • Complete departure or security checks as required.
  • Document all inspections carried out on the inspector's worksheet.
  • Assist in the comprehensive inventory and documentation of all managed properties.
  • Participate in deep cleaning initiatives for all managed units and oversee related inspections.
  • Identify necessary property upgrades, deficiencies in minimum inventories, and recommend replacements.
  • Assist the Property Service Manager in suggesting upgrades, maintenance of minimum inventory standards, and replacements.
  • Provide assistance with property cleaning when necessary.
  • Communicate the status of all units promptly.
  • Support housekeeping operations as needed.
  • Develop and mentor a team of housekeepers.
  • Report any damage, maintenance concerns, and unit requirements to the manager.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the interpersonal skills necessary to represent Resorts West professionally when interacting with guests, owners, and industry colleagues.

Excellent communication abilities are essential.

Physical requirements may include lifting heavy objects up to 75 lbs and engaging in physical activities such as bending and standing for extended periods.

A personal vehicle is required for travel to and from assigned properties.
