Technical Systems Architect for Smart Building Control Solutions

We are seeking a Technical Systems Architect to join our team at Energy Management Collaborative (EMC), a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions for Fortune 500 clients. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing advanced smart building control solutions that deliver significant Return on Investment (ROI) opportunities for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SBC Manager, Systems Engineering, and other engineers to design and develop control systems for specific projects
  • Draft and develop technical requirements for SBC programs and projects
  • Program BMS primary and field controllers
  • Develop and program BMS user interfaces
  • Help develop controls proposals in daily operations at EMC with the Customer Solutions Group
  • Maintain a library of standards on behalf of national account customers
  • Perform systems integrations using a wide variety of protocols including basic software
  • Ensure technologies are integrated and technically compliant per applicable standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a system engineer or system integrator with experience with at least one controls platform
  • Strong knowledge of IT networks, systems, and protocols, as well as technical proficiencies in A/C electrical circuits and low voltage D/C electrical circuits and operation
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills, as well as strong technical and problem-solving abilities
