Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Delinquent Account Collection: Primarily responsible for collecting delinquent accounts while meeting individual, department, and organization goals.
  • Communication and Counseling: Counsel and assist members on the telephone with collection items, questions, and problems.
  • Account Tracking and Resolution: Track down debtors to meet contractual obligations and resolve delinquent credit cards and mortgage collections.
  • Check by Phone Payments: Arrange and monitor check by phone payments.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with established regulations and law requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a financial institution and one (1) year experience in consumer collection preferable.
  • Education and Skills: High school graduate or equivalent, working knowledge of current Windows OS and MS Office software, and ability to communicate effectively in writing, by telephone, and in person.
