Composite Technician

HQ Aero Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Composite Technician to join our team in Marana, AZ.

We are looking for a skilled Composite Technician to carry out repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in composite repair and modification, with experience working with mechanical engineering drawings, Structure Repair Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Carry out repairs and modifications to composite structures on aircraft in accordance with FARs.
• Work with mechanical engineering drawings, Structure Repair Manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accurate and safe repairs.
• Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure repairs meet company standards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in composite repair and modification.

• 3+ years of experience in composite repair and modification.
• Post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of fabrication of sheet metal and composite components and assemblies.
• Working knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalog, and applicable FAA documents.
• Skills in the use of computer systems, maintenance manuals, documentation systems, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
