Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Collect and process patient samples for laboratory testing
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians
  • Take vital signs and record patient information
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an oncology or hematology setting
  • Knowledge of phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
  • Ability to speak a second language
  • Endocrinology, internal medicine, oncology, and rheumatology experience
