We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Temecula Valley Hospital. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Document all activities performed in accordance with established policy.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including feeding, ambulating, and surgical preps.
- Collect and process specimens, communicate pertinent information to the RN, and provide safe and timely transport of patients as assigned.
- Accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and post strips on flow sheets.
- 6 months of experience working as a CNA or Paramedic is preferred.
- Current Calif. CNA, EMT, or Paramedic certificate is required.
- BLS Certification (AHA and current) is required.
- Basic dysrhythmia certification within 90 days of hire is required.
