We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers. This is a remote position that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Support: Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment, provide on-site installation and maintenance services, and ensure that all installations meet the quality standards of the company and the industry.
  • Diagnose and Repair Equipment: Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions, conduct thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Customer Service: Build positive relationships with customers, apply excellent customer care, comprehend customer requirements, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Record Keeping: Keep records of all service calls, invoices, and customer interactions, produce timely and detailed service reports.
  • Training and Development: Attend training classes to stay current on both new and existing products.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in toner-based printing, proven field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
  • Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of electronics, mechanical operation, and strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently, and manage all on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, and test tasks.
  • Education: Proficient in English, valid driver's license.
