Role Description

We are in search of a Marketing Communications Intern to support our dynamic organization. This position offers a unique chance to engage with our marketing initiatives that encompass both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) strategies. The intern will assist both the Creative Director and the VP of Marketing and Communications in crafting compelling narratives across multiple formats, including social media content, email campaigns, event materials, and website copy.

The intern will report directly to the VP of Marketing and Communications and collaborate closely with the Brand team to ensure that written content aligns seamlessly with visual elements. Additionally, the intern will work with various departments within Allied OMS to produce content that aligns with their goals. Successful completion of this internship may lead to a full-time position as a Senior Associate in Marketing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate the Allied story through diverse marketing channels, including social media, email, website content, event materials, and traditional marketing assets.
  • Collaborate with the Brand team to integrate text with impactful visuals.
  • Ensure all written content adheres to Allied OMS's brand voice and guidelines.
  • Edit and proofread materials to uphold high standards of accuracy and style.
  • Assist other departments within Allied OMS in content development.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform content direction.
  • Support the creation of promotional materials for various offices and marketing initiatives.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for digital content creation.
  • Experience in writing for print materials, focusing on concise and impactful copy.
  • Understanding of B2B and B2C marketing concepts.

Internship Details

Duration: Minimum of 8 weeks with potential for extension.
