Samsung Research America invites experienced professionals to apply for the position of Wearable Health Product Specialist. As a critical member of our digital health systems team, you will drive innovation in wearable health products and contribute to shaping the future of healthcare technology.

As a key contributor to our medical device development team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including research, technology, design, and strategy, to develop cutting-edge health products and services for Samsung devices. Your expertise in medical device development, algorithm development, verification and validation, and regulatory affairs will be essential in guiding medical device projects towards successful regulatory clearances and product launch.

You will design and conduct large-scale clinical studies, collaborating with experts in statistical methods, and formulate comprehensive rationales for study population, methodology, and endpoints. Your results will be summarized and presented in regulatory submissions and defended during interactions with regulatory bodies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing innovative wearable health products and services that meet customer needs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test wearable health products
  • Conducting large-scale clinical studies to validate algorithms and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Preparing regulatory submission packages, including summarizing technical documentations
  • Improving our quality management system through new processes and operating procedures

The base pay range for this position is $183,100-$251,950 USD, along with annual bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
