Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at York H-G Properties LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergency repairs, and conducting regular property inspections.


Key Responsibilities:
  • General Maintenance: Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs as needed.
  • Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Tenant Communication: Interact with tenants professionally and provide updates on repair status.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and follow preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity of property systems and equipment.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus but not required.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Drivers License: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
